Baryalay Razi, or simply "Razi" has an incredibly compelling story as a United Nations delegate from Afghanistan, a Whataburger Regional Director, and ultimately, a multi-unit, multi-concept franchise owner.
Given his many years of operational experience and accolade-filled career, we are proud that Baryalay Razi has chosen to be part of the Aloha Poke Co. brand. Razi will be opening his first franchise location in the Richmond, Texas area of Houston in February, with 9 more locations to follow.
Why Aloha Poke Co.?
I believe that success comes from a focus on food, with no shortcuts, and improved operational efficiencies on a consistent basis. Aloha Poke checks both boxes. The food is delicious, but with a focused menu, fewer ingredients, and a smaller staff needed to operate my locations, my margins will be bigger.
What about the process of working with the company?
These guys at Aloha’s leadership, they’re just amazing guys. They really support you, they’re there for you, and I’m just really enjoying my time with all of them.
What's the interaction with the team been like?
I’m just really enjoying my time with all of them. Anytime I call them or email, they are there, and they catch up with me once or twice a week. I just visited Chicago for "Aloha University", and Andy and Pedro from the Operations Team took me through the process step-by-step. I am an experienced operator and caught on quickly, but they were there to answer any of the questions I did have. The guys invited me to the original French Market location, so I got to experience a busy lunch rush.
A Final Thought?
The best advice I ever received was: Whatever you do, give it 100%. Having worked with the Aloha Poke Co. team, I know that they share this belief.
